Zak Covert, 24. Born in El Paso, Texas and majoring in Journalism and Mass Media Communications. Covert has experience in photography, videography, and editing and will be graduating in May 2018.
“If there was one thing about NMSU that I could change upside down I’d have to say the amount of school spirit because as you can hear right now I kind of lost my voice at this last football game and I’m still trying to get it back. I don’t think there was very many people other than me that probably lost their voice last Saturday. I just wish there was more school spirit cause I like to get involved for the home team I’m very pro “go home team” just about my whole life high school, middle school, and pro sports. The El Paso team is where I grew up. I was a big fan of UTEP at the time but now I go to the rival school so let’s go NMSU! I just wish there was more school spirt on campus.”
