Zane Chaffee, 19, is currently enrolled in the Journalism department at New Mexico State University. He was born in Austin, TX and moved to Las Cruces, NM when he was only five years old.

            Chaffee has a unique characteristic to his persona and that is his long hair. The process of growing his hair has been going on for eight years. There was no reason behind the growth, “I think that after a while I had been growing it for so long that it was apart of me. I didn’t really see a reason to get it cut so I didn’t.” He says he cannot imagine it being much longer than what it is right now. Although he doesn’t plan on chopping it all off any time soon he does plan on getting a light trim.
