TWO OF A KIND
Veronica Gonzalez, 32, is one of the few female Dj’s in El Paso and is currently a Dj for KLAQ. She has been a Dj with KLAQ for about three years, prior to that she was a board op.
This is Veronica Gonzalez, she is the voice in your ear on your drive or even at work, that is if you listen to 95.5 KLAQ. She started as an intern and was a board op for the station. Fast forward a couple of years and she was presented with the opportunity to be a DJ. She is now one of the few female DJ’s in El Paso.
Ralph Escandon to many NMSU students is the guy who runs around the studio during News22 making sure everything is going according to plan. What many of the students may not know is that he is a musician and has toured with many Tex-Mex bands. He even had the opportunity to open up for Selena.
