Almost Famous

Victor Aguilar is a 19-year-old graffiti artist. He moved from San Diego, CA after graduating high school. He currently is a freelancer. though he takes pride in his work, graffiti isn’t the only art form he participates in. He paints, draws, and even dabbles in songwriting/poetry.

Mr. Aguilar has dreams of sharing his art with the world. His art is currently seen by many across town. Whether you’re driving around town or visiting the farmers market, you’ve most definitely been greeted by him or his masterpieces.

He got into graffiting in middle school. It started with random scribbles on his school desk which later moved onto bathroom stalls and so forth. His first mural was on a bridge down the Pacific Coast Highway.

His art allows him to express himself and gain a much-needed sense of freedom. Having been through a plethora of ordeals, he credits his art as the reason for which he is still alive today.

Victor hopes to continue his art journey and wants to go to school for art or fashion design. Once he’s saved up, he wants to move to either coast and further his career there. With the move, he knows will come greater and higher opportunities. For now, he’ll continue submitting his art for local art shows, selling custom paintings and drawings.
