Small Village New Mexico

In the southern part of New Mexico, the city of Las Cruces is surrounded by a few small villages filled with very proud and hard-working residents. The culture and heritage of a small town has unique eye-opening visuals that represent the people who live and work the land. There are many different races, genders and ages that lay claim to the land of enchantment. They present themselves with passion and a mentality that no other people seem to have in much larger cities.

As the sun rises retired veterans take brisk walks through the city of Mesilla, it is an out let that helps cope with the scars left behind from a war fought abroad. Antiques sit on the porch of houses displayed as props that some would consider junk or outdated. A top tier University stands below the gorgeous Organ mountains, with agriculture students tending to the cows and horses on campus. A nations flag waves rapidly on behalf of the towns people who are of conservative value. It is a diamond in the rough (desert). No words could express images captured from a camera. A destination buried by tumbleweed, farming, and tremendous food.
