Not Just Trash
Although it seems the pictures taken may seem like a total waste of time they are more to spread awareness to remind people to properly dispose of ones garbage and to recycle correctly.

Coherent idea.
Multiple immersion? Maybe… but they don’t seem to have been shot on different days and hours and times. That’s how you give a story depth.
The title :”Not Just Trash?” What does that mean? What are you showing except “trash?” N o solutions to the problem? No abusers throwing stuff away?
Trash doesn’t just occur. People make “trash.” They throw it away, they use it, they collect it and resell it? What about that. \ Seems to me that is where the interest in this story is… how trash is created by people. You’d have to put in a little more time and get some people recklessly throwing away stuff.
Also, there are Trash Dumps. There’s a dump or a landfill somewhere… not just garbage cans on campus. Every city has them. How about a trip to there (that’s where the “multiple immersion” comes in)?
You have a great idea. You needed to spend a little more time thinking through what your shots should be and then going and get them.
