My friend Kevin is a musician so he knows a lot of musicians in town including my other friend Simeon. When I asked Kevin about taking photos of his music lifestyle he told me about a few shows that were coming up that he wanted to take me to. Most of them included Sorrytown my friend Simeon’s band. Three were here in Las Cruces at a venue called Organ Mountain Underground, downtown. One was at the Lowbrow Palace in El Paso. There was a lot of good music and a lot of good vibes.

Seeing the bands mess with their distortion pedals was one of my favorite parts of the shows

  1. Good stuff. Good idea. Good images.
The only thing I would add is get some behind-the-scenes stuff. Backrooms… fans after the show trying to hang with the band?
The drive back to L.C….. tired, exhausted from the gig?
    Show what we can’t see… that’s what a photographer does….you’re our eyes.
