The Mexican Vendors by the U.S Mexico Bridges and Juarez each have their own story on how they became vendors and how through their perseverance they must continue each day to bring a glimpse of hope to their future generations.

Maria has been working at this post since she was 23 when she got pregnant and had her daughter till now trying to support her granddaughter while she’s attending UTEP University. She has a look of anguish because she’s exhausted after doing this for decades. She said anything for her family.
This is a mother and daughter who make and sell jewelry together. They’ve been doing this for generations and continue to teach more women in their family because according to them it brings bread to the table when times are hard.

Emmanuel Santacruz sells elotes by the Paso Del Norte Bridge. His mother got sick and this is whats helped him pay off her medical bills, slowly but surely.
Ellena has been selling candy since she can remember. Her parents would make her walk up and down streets selling candy. That’s all she’s known and all she’ll continue to do.

    Good job.
    Nice variety of images (some close some medium shots. You could use one Long shot… particularly in “juicy” light” like evening.
    Use all the skills in composition that you learned including LIGHT!
    I can’t tell if there is “multiple immersion (as required),” but you covered it enough.
    Use more quotes. 5Ws. How much do they make a day? Where do they put their carts? How often are they “out there?” When did they start doping this? How? Why this?
    Get what I mean?
