Multi Media Journalist, Michael Vigil.

Taos, New Mexico resident Michael Vigil, 20, is a third year Journalism and Mass Media Communications student at New Mexico State University. There, he practices broadcasting skills such as writing, reporting, and anchoring. Vigil is not only a full-time student at NMSU but he is recently also a full-time photog at KFOX in El Paso, Texas. He was first interning at KFOX and got hired as a part-time assignments desk editor over the summer. A new opportunity to be a photog was given to him and he took it! Although Vigil has much more to learn and has yet to finish his degree, he is already gaining the experience of what many call “the real world” and knows what it takes to be a part of it. However, that isn’t near to where he wants to be but it is definitely a start and he is one step closer to reaching his dream!
