Stephanie Mendez is a senior attending New Mexico State University and is an experienced Journalism and Mass Media student with a triple minor in marketing, advertising and social media marketing. With only a semester left for her degree, Mendez has already achieved a head start by kicking off her career with her recent position as the El Paso producer and correspondent for Daytime with Kimberly and Esteban. In shorter terms, Mendez appears on KFOX television! She explained how she is the youngest in her office as the majority of new hires at most news stations are already graduates. Daytime on KFOX14 showcases lifestyle segments from across El Paso and Mendez has the opportunity to network as well as explore her hometown through her job.
I am a dedicated student at New Mexico State University with dreams of becoming an Emmy-nominated journalist. My roots are buried deep in El Paso, Texas, but it’s safe to say I’m a sun-city girl with big city dreams!
