Who’s your barista?
As a college student I tend to spend quite a bit of time at Starbucks, especially the one on campus. That is where I met Alex Hallwyler.
Alex was born in Oregon, but New Mexico raised. He has been a barista for about a year and a half, but has a passion for writing. Alex graduated from New Mexico State University(NMSU) in 2008 with a Bachelors in English, followed by a Masters in Creative Writing. Since then he has published two short stories: “When I tell the story of what just happened” and “Eucharist.” He also has a book titled “Odd Surfaces” and hopes to get it published soon.
Next time you get a cup of coffee, ask who your barista is, the response may surprise you.
