pooldrops

For this week we had to do action shots of anything that seems interesting to us as a prequel to our sports assignment we have coming up. I decided to take pictures of rain dropping into the pool hoping to get some cool effects. I took this shot around 11 a.m. while it was raining with heavy overcast. It was a difficult shot to complete because there was no light around. What I did was take my phone, my husbands phone and his best friends phone and turn on the flashlights illuminating into the lens with two flood lights shining into the pool. My camera had a shutter speed of 1/4000 of a second and an f-stop of 2.8. Trying to find a raindrop was difficult but eventually it came out.
