Apadaca Park in Lac Cruces is home to eight pickle ball courts and a community of avid and beginner athletes. Pickle ball is not only a competitive sport but also a community building event that bring the best out of everyone. I could spend hours at these courts thanks to the wonderful people and the addictive competition.

The end of one game signals an open court for the next four opponents. This is the fool-proof system in place at Apadaca Park
THE BUSTLING SUNDAY AFTERNOON EVERGY OVERWHELMS THE COURTS AT APODACA PARK. FULL OF LIFE, LAUGHTER AND CERTAINLY COMPETITION, THESE COURTS BRING JOY TO A STEADY CROWD OF LAS CRUCES LOCALS.
ROWS OF EQUIPMENT BAGS, WATER BOTTLES, STOOLS AND EVEN PETS LINE THE FENCE AT APODACA PARK.
AVID PLAYER, DYLAN SMITH, STAYS CLEAR OF THE KITCHEN BY CROWCHING DOWN FOR THE RETURN.
THE DREAM TEAM TAPS PADDLES AFTER SCORING A POINT ON THEIR OPONENT.
DYLAN SMITH USES HIS HIGHT TO HIS ADVANTAGE AND ENJOYS SMACKING THE HIGH BALLS DOWN AT HIS OPPONENT’S FEET. ALMOST ALWAYS UNRETURNABLE.
WEATHER YOU’RE WATCHING OR PLAYING A GAME, THERE ARE ALWAYS SMILES TO BE SHARED.
THE DINK: DEFINED AS A SHORT EASY BALL THAT JUST BARELY CLEARS THE TOP OF THE NET.
