This woman has been asking for money on the streets in Las Cruces for the past 6 years.
This women for many years has been asking for money in the same place for the past 6 years. Sometimes you see her in different areas but this is the main one where she is always at. I got stop my car and I ask her for permission to take her story and photo, she agree. She told me she has never been able to work because no one hires her, that’s why she always asks for money on the streets for the past years. She has 3 children and she is a single mom. By the smell of alcohol on her breath it seems that she is an alcoholic and maybe that’s why she is unemployed.
