Photo of the week#4 Gila monster

Gila Monster (Heloderma suspectum)  They are a species of venomous lizards that are native to the southwestern United states and northwestern Mexican states of Sonora. The population is starting to shrink due to human encroachment and are now considered a threatened species.

This Guy was captured a long time ago before they made it on the threatened list the University has him for educational Use for the Wildlife department Museum.
