Drcadwell copyDr. Calleen Caldwell feeding  the juvenile rainbow trout in her fisheries  lab.  She is a Fisheries professor in the Fish, Wildlife and Conservation Ecology Department at NMSU. Her research area is in fish physiology, aquatic toxicology and conservation biology.Her Research program includes  elucidating physiological responses to environmental stressors, diet development, fish husbandry and aquaculture, reproductive cues, fish health, disease, effects of drought, grazing and wildfire on fish habitat, and climate change on native imperiled fishes of the southwest(Dr.Caldwell, 2014).
