Cooking for Chinese New Year
Chef Judy Cheng is from Taiwan, been living in New Mexico state for more then 20 years, she was a music teacher before she came to the United States.As mom of two NMSU students, her plan for next ten years is go back to Taiwan to enjoy her life.
The Lion Head is a traditional Chinese New Year dish, it is meat ball made with ginger,egg and marinated with soy sauce. It has the meaning that the incoming year will be happy and wise.
Orange Chicken sauce is made with orange skin, ginger. It need to be cooked at least for two hours to get the flavor out.
