ALMOST FAMOUS: DRU HUBBARD
Dru Hubbard is a local music store owner as well as a very experienced musician. Dru has been serving the Las Cruces community since the Mid 90’s, supplying generations of musicians new and old. Being a percussionist, Hubbard set out in the 80’s with his band “Footnotes” in the hopes of making it big. After a decade or so of chasing the dream and working on different projects, Dru met his love and returned back to Las Cruces to help run his father’s music store what is now known as Hubbard’s Music-N-More. Hubbard’s store serves as a emporium to all curious music makers, and he prides himself in that. Always being a constructive force and a warm welcoming spirit to anyone who walks in the doors. Through his master team of teachers that provide instrument lessons, or his countless workshops with famous artists for the public, Dru may not admit himself but this community knows his name a lot more commonly than he might think.
