Evyn Rodriguez, 22, is currently majoring in communication studies at New Mexico State University and doesn’t consider herself the type of person to work the same job her entire life. I can agree. Evyn, a Colorado native, has one more year until she’s completed her degree at NMSU. “Uncertainty is stressful, yet also really exciting,” said Evyn.

I asked Evyn about her feelings toward the new centralized advising, she was one of the few were not impacted by the long wait, delayed meetings, and late registration for the upcoming spring semester. Even though she was minimally affected compared to other students, Evyn said it was a long wait to see an advisor because of cancelled and rescheduled meetings.  What are your thoughts about NMSU’s new centralized advising policy?
