Mammal DNM talk_copyDr.Cheryl Parmenter works in the UNM Museum of South Western Biology In the Mammal division. she is by a freezer containing mammal DNA the freezer is cold enough to give you frost bite if you leave your hand in long enough. They have it set extremely cold to preserve the DNA encase they need to go back and use the DNA for animal identification or to help with a crime investigations.
