Local Stars

Luis Galindo is a film director that was born in EL Paso, Texas and raised in Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua. He has worked for different advertising agencies in Mexico, and other international companies. Amongst Galindo’s work there are several music videos and short film of his own production such as The Package, Siblings and mEat to mention some.

Born in La Habana Cuba, Jesus Barquet is an internationally recognized poet, editor and writer. He has received different awards such as: Premio Letras de Oro en Ensayo, Miami University, Premio Lourdes Casal de Crítica Literaria, UNEAC, La Habana and Segundo Premio de Poesia Chicano-Latina University of California, Irvine.

Peter Carrillo is a DJ at KLAQ, a radio station in El Paso Texas.
