Behind the Theater

Everyone knows the theater as a place to watch a show, see a play and hopefully catch a little culture. But what about the people behind the scenes? How does it all come together before the crowds roll in and the curtain rises? I wanted to find out, so I followed around the lighting crew at The Center for The Arts. These people are extremely passionate about what they do. Lights, an element not often thought about by the average theater goer yet, a key part of the production. They take great care making each of the many lights is pointed in exactly the right direction, focused and colored. Definitely an art all on its own.
