One Life Helps Others
Cynthia Herrera is a 30 year old woman living in Anthony, NM. Where she dealt with hardships. As a young girl her life was very rough her parents were not around and hardly paid attention to her. They basically left her and her brothers in the dark to fend for themselves. At a young age she felt hurt, lonely, and confused. With that Cynthia turned to the wrong places and desperately needed either something emotionally, financially, etc. So she learned to survive, the bad way. She now realizes that it was bad after becoming a Christian at Anthony Christian life center. (Where the pictures are taking place) Essentially she was in survival mode and depended on men which wound up hurting her. Cynthia also has tattoos all over her body that have significance to her past.
Cynthia never was able to finish high school because she did something to put her into jail. She drastically turned her life around after she got out of prison. She got her GED enrolled in college, and got her degree in Mental Health.
Now she works at La Clinca de Familia in Anthony, NM. as a Mental Health Care Coordinator. Cynthia was able to turn her life around and turn all her negative into positive. She gets to use her past as a way to relate to the people she helps at her job.
Now she understands that she went through all these things for a reason, and that was to be victorious.
Which she is. Cynthia is married and has children, a career, and a good life.
