Cole Mitchell is a singer songwriter who has recently relocated to Las Cruces (The Badlands). His musical career spans his entire life as he has been playing and touring with bands around the United States since he was 16 years old. In the last 20 years Cole focused his talents in Albuquerque NM. His renown began to lift off with the extremely popular local group named The Saddle Sores. Over the course of about 15 years they cut multiple albums, played locally and won the Best Americana Act in 2005. In 2006 Cole began is solo career. This has borne many fruits ranging from winning runner up in the International Song Writing competition to having his solo songs featured in Film and TV. Once of his songs was featured in The First Snow with actor Guy Pierce. Baytown Outlaws with Billy Bob Thorton showcased another of his songs and several of his songs were featured in the TV series Friday Night Lights. Cole states he is looking forward to being more rooted in this area, The Badlands. He says this is a perfect venue for his Americana music
