A Weekend In the Mountains

Summer in the mountains differs greatly from the normal sizzling Las Cruces, NM summers. Temperatures in Colorado mountain town Idaho Springs drop into the mid-50s on a summer’s night, and float around the 70s during the day. During a summer camping trip with friends, I was able to get a few days out of the heat and enjoy the Colorado mountain air.
