Joe Mee, age unknown, gave me a glimpse of his art form, rebuilding cars and motorcycles, inside his tucked away garage in the small village of La Mesa, NM.
Chope’s, founded before 1940, has been a hub and gathering place for La Mesa residents since it opened.
