Lowell B Catlett, Dean of New Mexico State University of Agriculture and Home Economics has been recognized with awards such as the Carl F. Hertz Distinguished Service to Agriculture Award by the ASGMRA in 2007. However his biggest accomplishment as he shares are all the students he sees succeed in the program. “It really makes me happy to see students come to school and make a future.”

Bruce Berman is an assistant professor of the journalism and mass communications department at NMSU. A few of the highlights of his career as a photojournalist include working for the New York Times for almost twenty years where he worked in various parts of the world including in Nicaragua during the revolution era. His most recent work is focus on the people of the Mexican-US border where he hopes to capture the real essence of humanity through images.

Gary R. Lowe holds a Ph.D. from the University of Iowa in Social Foundations History and Philosophy of Education. During his career he has been highly involved with the international community and has been to over 60 countries. Dr. Lowe is the coordinator of Aggies Go Global where he mentors and supports students go are eager to volunteer and study abroad. Over 300 Aggies have gone global since the program started in 2009.

  1. Captioning is excellent. You gave your viewer/reader something to work with. The images are sharp and clear and the environments add to the portraits. I see the effort and it’s good.
    The bottom guy, Gary, is overly sharpened. Watch it and don’t go too far.
    Are your images properly downsized? They are loading slowly. I think not. Please fix them. It hurts the performance of the site when this is the case.
    Congratulations Ana. Nice project.
