Taylor Atencio is from Albuquerque, New Mexico and is a student at NMSU studying kinesiology. Taylor made the decision to come to NMSU because his mom, sister, and dad are all alumni of the University.

His choice to study kinesiology came from his love for sports. Growing up participating in many sports helped Taylor to develop a passion for the way the body moves. Taylor has been a lifeguard at West Mesa Aquatic Center in Albuquerque for the last five years and he has helped many kids learn to swim.

Taylor strained his achilles tendon at a track meet during his sophomore year of high school and pulled his rotator cuff at a water polo game during his senior year of high school. Since Taylor was injured on two separate occasions and spent so much time with a physical therapist, he hopes to open his own physical training center and help athletes who have been hurt.

  1. The portrait and accompanying caption are OK. He’s an interesting guy with a interesting history. Focus is good. No clutter. Good. It is engaged as well.
I’m only looking at the smaller of the two images but even it doesn’t look totally sharp. AND, it doesn’t link, meaning that when you post it you have to click the LINK TO MEDIA option.
