The month of September in Las Cruces, NM hosted a variety of sporting events throughout the city. Athletes from NMSU competed and swept the UTEP miners in volleyball and upset the football predictions to win across the board.

Volleyball continued their success at home with their follow up wins against Chicago State and UMKC. Young volleyball players from the community were given the chance to compete in a balloon popping contest between matches at NMSU. The next game folks can catch at the Pan American Center will be on October 12 against CSU Bakersfield.

Aggies aren’t the only athletes competing in the city of crosses. The cool fall weather is perfect for k9 competition training. Sadie May, a brindle mix from Las Cruces happily trains through the afternoon.

  1. Dog not necessary! BUT good freeze attempts.
Volleyball is well done. Get rid of the “ringers,” though. Stick with your strongest work, of which, you have at least 4 1/2!
Your captions are non existent. That’s an important element of this assignment. Grade down on that.
Also your post is wrong because there is no icon on the post. You need to fix that because it makes the entire site look amateurish. Points down on that.
